As with every wedding this year, Michelle and Mitch had to adjust their original plans … a few times. Eventually though we were blessed with an amazing morning and ventured out onto the Chicago River Walk for some amazing wedding photos. Michelle & Mitch actually ended up having a small ceremony and getting married a couple weeks prior to this and chose to keep it simple and safe.
We left their apartment just after sunrise and started along the river walk taking the awesome views and the perfect golden light raining in over the city from across the lake. Eventually, we made our way back towards the Art Institute and the South Gardens to get some photos there as well. The Art Institute South Garden is one my favorite, low key spots in the city for photos. It’s usually pretty quiet their and the garden is stunning, especially early in the morning or right before sunset.
