One of the things I love about photographing weddings in this city is all of the amazing rooftop wedding venues Chicago has to offer! Below you’ll find a list of my favorite rooftop venues with links to additional information for planning your wedding.
Lacuna Lofts
The rooftop at Lacuna Lofts is hands down my favorite in the city. The view of the skyline is incredible and the rooftop is spacious enough to seat larger weddings. You can find more info about hosting your wedding here at the links below.
Loft Lucia
Located in the West Loop, Loft Lucia is another of my favorite venues. The venue consists of two levels, the lower level being the main event space. On the top level you’ll find an enclosed lounge and bar area perfect for cocktail hour. This space also open up onto a rooftop space perfect for smaller ceremonies.
Loews Hotel Chicago
Located in the Streeterville area just North of the river, the rooftop at the Loews Hotel surrounds you in the Chicago skyline. The other nearby building rise up around you and make for an amazing experience. The rooftop has tons of space making it a great choice even for larger weddings. Opt for having your reception on the rooftop as well and enjoy a sunset dinner with all your guests to complete the experience.
Morgan’s on Fulton
This is a great venue to consider for a rooftop wedding if you’re a little concerned about the weather. Morgan’s on Fulton has a retractable glass enclosure that can adapt to the weather. No need for scrambling to find a backup ceremony location, they’ve got you covered (pun intended). In addition to the covered space, there’s also an additional uncovered perimeter patio which the perfect space for guests to mingle and take in the Chicago skyline.
